About
Hey! I'm Ellie.
Driven by a passion for sustainable architecture and urban resilience, I am Elnaz Ghasemi, a forward-thinking Ph.D. student at Penn State University. My expertise spans innovative carbon-neutral solutions, high-performance buildings, and energy efficiency in the urban sector. I bring a robust academic foundation, with a background in Architecture and Architectural Engineering, complemented by impactful research on both urban carbon emissions and passive strategies for facade design. My skills are fortified by advanced proficiencies in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, Grasshopper, Energy Plus, and Python, alongside recognized achievements like the James E. Marley Graduate Fellowship, and the DAAD trip award. As a published author on carbon emissions, I am committed to leveraging data-driven design to foster sustainable urban environments. Let's connect to explore synergies in creating resilient, low-carbon buildings, and urban spaces.
